The following topics are issues that push my HOT Button. Not necessarily in order of priority, these issues are matters which involve public safety, state economic troubles, voting, and the public peace. These are issues that need attention and change!

Cost of Elections:
When I decided to run for the 33rd District Senate seat, I spoke to several people in the know as to what it would take to run a successful campaign. Without exception, I was told “money, money, money, you don’t win without money”. A minimum of $100,000 and probably closer to $200,000 depending on how much your opponent(s) spend, I was told.

Seat Belts For School Buses
Ever wonder why school buses don’t have seat belts? Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! Does it? Yet every year hundreds of Wisconsin students are injured in school bus crashes — injuries that could have been diminished, or even prevented altogether had there been seat belts in the buses.
